Art Exhibition 2024 - Member's works

Springwood Community Arts Centre (SCAC) Members Exhibition is on October long weekend, and you’re invited!

Bring your friends to this showcase of the members’ amazing works. Drawing, painting in oils, acrylics and watercolour, pastels, mosaics, jewellery, creative journaling, embroidery, knitting, crotchet, patchwork, and dressmaking. Come along and support your talented local community.

EXHIBITION HOURS: Friday 3^rd of October, noon - 4 pm; Saturday, Sunday, Monday 10 - 4 pm. Entry via gold coin donation at the door.

OFFICIAL OPENING: Saturday 4^th October, 1 - 3 pm. Susan Templeman MP-Federal Member for Macquarie will open the exhibition.

Member’s preparation:

This exhibition is a terrific opportunity to display your work and become accustomed to exhibiting. AWARDS: ‘Best in Show’ for Art, Textiles and Children’s categories, and a ‘People’s Choice’ award for Art and Textiles categories. Let yourself shine and enter at least one of your works.

• Entry forms available in the centre’s kitchen, via your tutor, or online. Closing date for entries: 19^th September. Deliver to ‘Exhibition Box’ in the kitchen.

• Entry Fee, a total of $5 for up to two works.

• All entries must be framed or suitably prepared to hang/display by the owner, prior to the exhibition. If unsure, talk to your tutor for guidance.

• During the week beginning 25^th August committee members will visit classes to answer questions about the exhibition.

• Entries must have a label on the back of the work. Labels for your use are attached to the back of the entry forms.
