Enrolments are open for the second term with two exciting new classes to choose from.
Painting Expressive Portraits in Acrylic and Oil - Wednesday afternoon 1 to 3.30 pm. Tutor Cheryl Simpson, who ran two popular workshops in the January Creative Week. [For this term only this course will run for 7 weeks, beginning first week of term.]
Flora and Fauna for Beginners - Tuesday afternoon 12.30 to 3 pm. Tutor Jenni Mills, who has been running the very popular Art Journalling courses.
Springwood Community Arts Centre Annual General Meeting - 14 March 2026.
Your AGM saw Kristine McLean elected President , Francoise Matter Treasurer, Grant Eyre Vice President, for 12 months.
Kathleen Dixon, Alexandra Zimbicki, Jane Thomas, and Jenni Mills were elected committee members.
We thank retiring members: Catherine Fox, for her absolutely wonderful work as President for the Centre over the past five years. Grant Eyre, for his tireless work as Treasurer over many years and Leonie Jones as Vice President. Thanks also to Judith Yalden and Barbara Rufus for their contributions to SCAC.
We acknowledge and thank also Susan Spedding Secretary, and all continuing committee members.
