About the Course
This 9-week course is aimed at providing creative art classes for children aged 8 to 11 years old. Children will enjoy creating and completing art works each week using a variety of mediums. In each class the children will sketch and draw a variety of subjects including animals, people, and the world around them. Then complete their art work using the medium of their choice e.g. watercolour, pastels, acrylic paint and more. I encourage the children to be creative and always experiment and have fun.

The 9-week class is $170 which includes all materials and mediums to complete the course.
Children’s class members are NOT required to pay the $35 annual membership fee but must join Kids Club (free).

Your Instructor
Gail Chamacho
Springwood based artist and tutor Gail Camacho works mainly in acrylics and mixed media. Gail holds an Advanced Diploma of Fine Arts and Certificate in Ceramics. Gail describes her art works as being “Whimsical colourful characters and animals captured in a moment of reflection and joy”. Gail has been creating art for over 30 years and has many years’ experience teaching children drawing, painting and clay work sculptures.
