Expressive Charcoal Drawing with Rose Gilbey

This workshop is about creating a drawing where expressive architecture meets nature . We will walk throughthis drawing process together. Drawing on textured paper that will work well with both mediums, we will start with a light graphite sketch. Looking at composition , balance, depth and dimension, we will buildup the structure using different charcoals. Then moving into softer tones for shadow and mood, we will be using a range of willow charcoal. Finally adding detail with some graphite, white charcoal and a variety of erasers to finish the image.
