About the Course
Do you love botanical and wildlife art and want to learn to draw from nature? Have fun learning whilst being part of a small friendly group. You will work at your own pace. We will be using graphite, coloured pencil and/or water colour paints.
We will be exploring ways yo bring Nature alive by learning to draw and paint directly from a specimen or photograph.
We will be using graphite, coloured pencil and /or watercolour paint.
We will focus on drawing, composition and exploring colour mixing and watercolour techniques.
Your Instructor
Alison Dickin
Originally from Shropshire, UK, Alison studied art at
Shrewsbury Art School and went on to do a BA (Hons) in Textile
Design (specialising in hand knitwear) from Trent Polytechnic,
Nottingham, UK. During this time she exhibited at Prato Expo
Milan. She taught knitwear at Huddersfield Polytechnic, then
went on to work for a design studio in London.
